If you look at my photos, especially on my Instagram, you'll realize that I love to take photos by the waterfront. There's something about water that is just so peaceful and reflective that allows you the serenity to think. Anyways, I was looking through my archives and found some gems from photos I took in my final days as a high school senior at Tabor Academy.
We had this tradition that all the seniors would make their way to the waterfront and watch the sun rise for a final time. At first when you think about it, it sounds pretty silly, but looking at these photos, and even though so many of them as shadow shots, in my opinion you can really feel the reflection that's going through the minds of the seniors as the look at this final sunrise as a student. That's why I like photography so much, because even five years later, and these photos can tell more of a story than I could to explain properly the emotions going through everyone that day.
